The Congress for Cardiology and Internal medicine of Asian and CIS countries

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On April 26 - 27, 2019, the Congress for Cardiology and Internal medicine of Asian and CIS countries was held in Dushanbe (Tajikistan). The congress was organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan and the Cardioprogress Foundation. In the opening ceremony, the Minister, Professor Olimzoda Nasim Khoja addressed the participants with greetings. The congress was attended by over 1000 participants and delegates, including 75 lecturers from 32 countries (Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Israel, India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, Great Britain and etc.) It is gratifying that international organizations such as WHO, the World Bank, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, TICA, UNICEF, and UNFPA also took an active part. The scientific topic was devoted to topical issues of cardiology and therapy, the sectional sessions were held in parallel in 8 salons of the National Library of Tajikistan. An online broadcast was carried out for 5 cities of Tajikistan. Certainly, this congress will go down in the history of medicine of the republic and the region as a large-scale scientific and practical event.
