Innovative technologies in medicine. International Congress DATS 2023 (Baku, Azerbaijan)

 

A major scientific and practical event was devoted to the application of innovative technologies and the implementation of international recommendations for the fight against chronic non-communicable diseases. In particular, the issues of the use of artificial intelligence, telemedicine and mobile medicine, robotic technology, 5G technology and electronic document management in medicine were discussed. More than 100 experts from 13 countries (Russia, Turkey, USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, England, Japan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc.) presented original and review reports on various medical fields. In panel discussions, topical aspects of healthcare organization in modern conditions were widely discussed.

Russia was represented by 20 experts from leading medical institutions in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don. Head of the Department of Secondary Prevention of Chronic NCDs of the NationalMedicalResearchCenter for Therapy and Preventive Medicine, Professor Mamedov Mehman  presented two reports on original studies on the prognosis of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and coronary artery disease, as well as the priorities of primary prevention among adults with high cardiovascular risk.
